LINCOLN (SNR) – “The Passion of Christ” by RADIX will be performed March 16 at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Church, 6111 Morrill Ave., Lincoln.

The powerful, one-man drama of the passion of Christ, following His journey through the eyes of the disciple who followed Christ to the foot of the cross, is presented by internationally-recognized performer Doug Barry of RADIX. Founded in 1991, the mission of RADIX is to “encourage and inspire as many people as possible to go to the heart of a relationship with God.”

The presentation is accompanied with a live musical score by world-renowned pianist Eric Genuis.

Father Troy Schweiger, pastor of St. Patrick Parish, said when Barry asked if the parish would be open to hosting the performance, he was happy to say ‘yes.’

“I had seen the power of the performance,” he said, “and how it could change people’s lives.”

There is no cost to attend the event. For more information, call 402-794-2100.

St. Patrick Parish serves 750 families in historic Havelock. The parish is comprised of parishioners from Havelock, Waverly, rural Lincoln and other parts of Lincoln. The community celebrated the dedication of its new church building in August 2015.
